Served a bit too cold but slipped down nicely while watching the England v Ireland Six Nations match in The West Didsbury Club.

Cask at the Old Farmhouse, Kentish Town on 18th November 2024. Crystal clear amber with shallow, pale tan foam and scant lacing. Malty aroma. Nutty malts, zesty peels and fruitiness in-mouth, and a bitter note developing during a sweet, fruity finish. Light bodied with a zingy mouthfeel.

Foamy white head stayed on a well carbonated clear amber coloured body. Faint citrus & grain aroma. Medium bodied, soft & sticky on the back. Malt, grain, bubble gum & stone fruit tastes with a tangy finish. Nicely balanced.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Tesco. Pours totally clear honey-gold with a creamy, white topping. Lightly sweet, nicely malty, some semi-ripe oranges, biscuits, low bitterness, honey. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, malty, more citrus, soft piney accents. Easy drinking stuff.
