Bottle at home. Black pour with creme tan head. Sweet roasted chocolate malts, massive coconut and coconutmilk, coffee, distant pepper, melasse. Very sweet, light spiciness, light roasty bitterness. Over medium body, soft carbonation. Heavy creamy feel on tongue dissolves in a bit watery mouthfeel, bit of an alcoholic spicy sting. I remember the cc:porter being very smooth, this is a bit more raw/blunt and it doesn’t fit very well. Still sucking happily on dat bounty tho’!

deep dark brown colour, one inch dense beige head; aroma of intensive coconut and chocolate, as well as liqueur notes - as if a Bounty chocolate bar was solved in a glass of liqueur; taste is the very same with roasted bittery notes; just simply amazing!

Bottle at home, black beer, small head. Aroma is coconut with some coffee. Taste is the same. Coconut is more pronounced in this one and the boozyness is less. very good like the CC one.

Bottle at home. Black with big creamy dark beige head, looks great. Roasted coconuts with a light chemical touch like in Bounty candy bars. Creamy coffee, and quite some hops too with lime and fresh cut grass underneath. Roasted malts, chocolate, lots of toffee, passion fruit, dry cocoa powder and some chalk. Over medium sweet and under medium bitter. Bit over medium bodied with slick and a bit watery feel. Very nice, but the hops are maybe a bit too much, I think I liked the CC version better, but this is still very good. If it had a fuller mouthfeel this would be great even.

330 ml. bottle drank @ Gollem. Very dark brown, blackish faint red hue, creamy solid darker tanned head. Nose is big coconut, light plastic artificial coconut but way less than the CC version, lots of real coconut, Bounty, light roast, touch alcohol. Taste is interesting interplay of strong roast balanced by sweet cacao, syrup, coconut, artificial but not extremely so coconut, lingering coconut finish, both halves are in good balances, strong raw roasted coffee, light alcohol, touch boozy in the finish. All component balance each other, lingering coconut finish. Cartoonish but in a good way, mocha faint syrupy body. Way better than the CC, roast, bigger coffee balances really well, coconut is far less artificial,.. Really nice & fun beer. Huge improvement.

Bottle in Gollem. Pours dark. Small white head. Smell and taste are very comparable to the cc Version, but this one has a bit more dark maltyness. Coconut still is far to strong though, and the aftertaste remains repelling to me.

Bottle from Uiltje webshop, BB 30 12 16, large sample. Dark color, medium frothy head. Aroma of big coconut, bounty, milk chocolate, bit lactic. Sweet in taste of coconut, bitter coffee getting through, some roast, milk chcocolat. Way better than the cc version, but still can use some extra caramel sweetness or body besides the immense coconut. I love the choc and coconut, but the lactic notes could be improved. Still love these kinds of beers.
