0.33 l bottle at ’Café DeRat’, best before December 2016. Clear, very dark reddish brown to black with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, slightly roasty aroma of lots of coconut, coffee, vanilla and a touch of hazelnut. Sweet, moderately roasty-malty taste of lots of coconut, coffee, some licorice, vanilla and some hazelnut, followed by a rather long, quite roasty-bitter, a little warming finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty, and a lot better than the messy CC: Porter.

Bottle. Cotteridge. Very dark cola brown. Thin, sticky, light tan head. Nose has coconut cream. Milk chocolate. Light roast coffee bean. Vanilla pod. Some vine fruit in the background keeps the pudding sweetness grounded. Taste is vine fruit sweet. Some dryness. Light, coffee bean bitter. Some hop bitterness, too. Smooth mouthfeel. Very easy drinking. Big, raisin fruit, chewy finish. Liquified, grown up ice cream!
