Bottle 0,75ltr: Pretty good version of a great style but now from the Brabant city of Breda. Hazy yellow thirstquenching hefe weizen.

Pours unclear blonde. Smell is banana, bit sweet. Taste is bit bitter, fresh, médium intense banana. Not as creamy as usual. Not much cloves. Not much aftertaste. Wheat is recognizable.

Very cloudy yellow beer, creamy dense yellowish head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: sweetish, bubble gum, bit malty, grains, very faint. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of sweet malts, ripe banana, bubble gum, some caramel. Aftertaste: more banana, malty, grains, yeasty, bit bland, sugary.

Draft at the Beyerd beer festival. Hazy golden with a big white head. Aroma of yeast, grains and light citrus with some herbal notes. Flavour is above light sweet and bitter. Above light bodied with soft carbonation.

Slightly pale warm golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, cloves, malts, light wheat notes. Sweet malty flavour, bread. Bit thin. Finish yeast, malts, lingering sweet.

Sampled @ De Beyerd. Hazy yellow-orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste wheat, banana, maybe slightly herbs or spices. Average to medium body and carbonation. Hmm ok.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a thick, white and creamy head. Aroma is mild fruity and light estery. Smooth fruity, light bitter and mellow estery/wheaty/yeasty. Light bitter and medium dry finish.

Bottle 75cl. @ home.Unclear medium yellow amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, toasted, fruity, light yeasty, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is creamy to watery, carbonation is soft. [20090407]
