Black with orange highlights and a medium sized foamy beige head that left decent lacing. Toasty, woody and dryish with a vanilla note. Medium finish and body.

This brew is a brownish-black color with a medium khakie head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt, coffee and vanilla. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, vanilla and mild coffee. The finish is a little thin with a vanilla coffee aftertaste. Decent overall.

Poured from a 22 oz bottle. Aroma is odd with some acidity and dark fruit notes. Medium light roast with light chocolate and hints of vanilla. Light toasted bread note. Pours dark brown with a large, somewhat thin, dark tan head that slowly recedes to the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly off with an odd cream soda character. Medium vanilla with some light chocolate and faint roast. Slightly herbal with some light dark fruit notes. Low bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an odd beer. The vanilla was missing in the aroma and odd in the flavor. Really odd cream soda character.

Bottle shared at The Hague New Year Whale Session (while breaking for pizza - this was not one of the whales). Pours dark brown with a ring tan head. Aroma of malt, veggies, light vanilla and my mum’s hair spray in the 80s. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
