warm: [6-2-7-3-16] clear dark red, no head (went away when i warmed it up) aroma of cherries. flavor is very nice, sort of reminds me of glogg, but with a much more refined fruity sour tinge to it, and of course the cherries. Surprisingly nice and "clear" taste. great winter warmer. There’s also some spices in there which is especially apparent towards the end. cold:[3-6-6-2-13] cloudy red, smooth pink head.3, aroma of cherries, almonds, fruity bitterness. 6. flavor is pretty sweet at first, cherries, however some sour balance is present, towards the end it goes a bit fruity bitter.6, palate a bit bubbly and foamy2, overall 13.. My rate is the warm one, as that is what the bottle suggested for a serving temperature. One of the best warm beers i’ve tasted.

Warning! Early amateur rating! Aromatic warm cherry beer. More a morello cherry falvour. Not sweet and vaguely spicy. Nearly missed the fact you are suppossed to warm this up and actually preferred it very cold!

This has been lying under the stairs now for a over year mainly down to the fact I couldn’t be arsed to heat it up! Today I got that arse in gear and heated it up on the stove. Deep red pour with a light pink head. Steamy aromas of cherries, sultanas, figs and dates. Sweet cherry taste. Lots of dark fruits, sultanas, raisins, plum pudding. Soothing, sweet fruity finish. Gets me in the mood to get in a few bottles of mulled wine for Christmas.

25 cl bottle. Opened bottle and warmed it in a pot like hot sake to about 50 degrees. Deep, dark, cherry red color. Rich and fragrant cherry aroma, tart and slightly milky. Tart cherry flavor, sweet and sour, with quite a bit of carbonation remaining. Slightly lactic, citric. Spicy, but restrained. Works very nicely warm. Great balance, fragrance is loosened by the heat. A strange experience at first, but I could get used to this in winter.

75cl Bottle. Served hot. Clear red colour, almost no head. Aroma of sour cherries, cinnamon, clove. A little musty. Flavour is sour cherries at first, then sweet and spicy. Slightly sour finish. Medium bodied. Really nice. Also very good served cold, although it lacks some of the spicy flavour then.

From a hot pot at EBF 08. Served hot, spiced sherry beer. Served warm. It’s got mustiness and sherry. It’s ok. Just a bit spicey and extreme.

Bottle. Tasted warm. Cherry, marzipan & almond. Cloying, sticky & sweet. Warming. Spices like cinnamon. Different experience but wouldnt choose it over "beer" anyday!
