From tap at De Stomme van Campen, Kampen. Aroma is ripe fruits, malty caramel, toffee, ripe orange. Flavour is above moderate sweet and bitter. Body is above medium, scores points for smoothness. Nice brew.

Draft @ Desafinado, Middelburg. Hazy amber colour, white foam. Sweet fruity (peach, pineapple) citrussy, reminds me of a sweet IPA. Not bad.

On tap at NHBF’16. Amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of grass, spruce, caramel, toast. Flavour follows, bitter finish, resin. Light bodied. Decent.

Sampled from tap at NHB 2016 as ’Briljant Hamerstuk’. Clear, golden amber with an off-white head. Sweetish, fruity and slightly resiny aroma of mango, orange jam, caramel and some honey, Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity and a little resiny taste of mango, orange jam, honey and some caramel, followed by a short, slightly bitter, a little resiny finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Tap @ In De Wildeman. Hazy amber color. Aroma’s of (sweet) fruit, honey, caramel malts. Retronasal there’s hops, caramel, fruit. Flavor is moderate bitter, caramel. Medium bodied. Finishes with a reasonable bitterness.

Tap @ in de Wildeman, small sample. Hazy amber color, short frothy head. Bit spicy aroma of rye, some caramel and butterscotch, slight fruity hop. Bit bitter in taste, slight spicy, some sweet caramel. Ok, but a bit boring.

Tap at De Paas. Clear dark golden to amber with bit fluffy white head. Lots of caramel, hay, light horse poop, roasted malts, light citrus, dried apricots, white grapes. Under medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Tap at De Paas after Kaapse 2nd Anniversary. Clear amber / dark golden white head, resiny and some ground bitter hops. Sweet caramel. Honey sweetened tea. Licorice sticks. Onions in there as well. Medium sweet, under medium bitter. Over medium body, gelly fat feel. Medium carbonation. Nice brew.
