Blonde Ale is a light blond beer of high fermentation, with a fine and abundant bubble that forms the white foam that crowns it. With 4.5% vol, it is the most emblematic Espiga Beer. It gives off an amalgam of herbal, citrus and fruity aromas that, together with a light body and a cheerful carbonation, invites you to drink and increase the refreshing sensation of the liquid. It concludes with a dry, pleasant and moderately bitter finish.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Sparkling yellow gold colour, white foam head leaving some lacing and fruity citric hoppy aroma. Taste is malt caramel, some grain and biscuit, with tangy citrus & peach hop bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry astringent bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Pajiza, nebulosa. Espuma jabonosa, duradera. Aroma afrutado. En boca sabor lupulado frutal, con notas cítricas, melocotón y fruta tropical. Bastante agradable. El gas excesivo estropea algo el conjunto, aunque le da un punto picante.

From tap at Beer’linale, Barcelona, 20.07.17. Clear, very pale, golden. Fairly persistent bright white head and lacing. Excellent aroma and taste of mango, apricot, papaya, lemon and lime. And succade. Satisfyingly and round bitterness is lingering on.

Pours hazy gold from the bottle. Aroma is strawberry, honeymelon, floral. Wonderful aroma overall. Taste is a sort of dry, perfumed bitterness. Has a silky feel in the mouth. Medium bodied. Finish is short, with the steady, perfumed bitterness abruptly falling away. Good stuff.

Bottle at Gunners Pub, thanks Vran! Golden/blond body with a lasting, big white head. Tropical fruit hop aroma, okay enough. Tropical fruit hoppiness in te taste, fresh, light tea-like notes, grainy. This is a genuinely nice light beer, deserving the high ratings!

Bottle courtesy of cgarvieuk dregs run. Appearance - golden with a few yeasty things going on. Nose - plant stalks and meadow flowers. Lemon custard at a push. Taste - lemon again, but in a sweet tart kinda way. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - it’s decent but can’t believe it is a to 50 for style.
