Bottle, clear golden beer, small head. Aroma is malt, grain, maybe a little hint of yeast. Taste is the same, sweet bitter, dont get what is so special....

Keg halfpint at the River Bar, Dublin. Golden colour, thin white head. Pleasant aroma of fruity yeast. Interesting fruity, yeasty and spicy flavour, moderate hops in the dry finish.

Minimal herb-brotiger Antrunk. 11/9/9/9//9

Keg @ Volunteer, Baker Street, London. Clear golden with next to no head. Tastes and smells like a wheat beer with a dryness in its texture.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of yeast, banana, caramel, grains, toffee, quite a bit of butter, light floral hops. Sweet malty flavour, light bitter. Butter notes. Finish yeast, butter, banana, toffee. Quite nice and interesting, reminding a bit of a Belgian tripel. Too much butter for me, but I love that Heineken is experimenting with this and giving space for this kind of product development. My appreciation for the brand has definitely grown.

Blind tasting with Dr. Beer, sampled in black glassware. Smell is nicely malty, touch hoppy. Some biscuit. Mild grassy notes. Mild floral hoppyness. Touch white peppery. Taste is german-like, bit fruity, buttery banana. Decently bitter. Some fruity hop notes, as well as grassy notes. Mild yeasty ending, not a longlasting aftertaste.

Bottle @ tasting shared by Joes. Clear golden color, small off-white head. Aroma is a bit moldy and dusty. Taste some malts, again a bit dusty and musty. I don’t know what it is exactly, but I don’t like it at all. Not filthy but just a bit unfresh and unpleasant. Meh.

Bottle @ benzai. Like there was some tripel left in the glass when I poured it. Hint of sourness. I kinda like it but I’m not allowed to admit it by my peers tonight. --- Beer merged from original tick of H41 Wild Lager on 30 Dec 2016 at 19:56 - Score: 5.
