Lucky SOB is an Irish Red for those whose lives always fall into place…and also for the rest of us who curse those blessed bastards. Brewed with real four-leaf clovers, it is perfectly poised to bring the “Luck of the Irish” to those who drink it. With a rich amber color, its toasted and honey malt flavors are balanced with a subtle hop bite. Not to mention that its clean and refreshing finish is the perfect accompaniment to chants of “Erin Go Braugh.”

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a clear reddish amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is yeast, light metallic hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a malt, resin hop light citrus bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. I don’t like red ales normally, but this one had some body and a little flavour.

355ml bottle at 5.5%. Pours reddy orange with a medium frothy head. Aroma is toffee and red berries. Taste is toffee to start with a bread, fruity finish. Well, they’ve got the stock English bottled bitter nailed. Boring.
