Cask. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. moderate malty and hoppy aroma. Nutty notes. Moderate bitter nice flavor with nice week caramellic notes. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Cask @ Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty slightly roasted caramel flavor with some hints of dark fruit. Has a fruity malty caramel finish.

Deep brown and amber coloured body with a dense tan head. Aroma of funk, basement, nuts, caramel and roasted malt. Medium-bodied; Assertive roasty flavours with a lot of sweetness, a touch of spice and a good overtone of murky, dry flavours. Aftertaste shows a lot of complexity, some alcohol, vanilla, oak and perhaps even a touch of spice in the mix. Overall, a nice beer - definitely worth trying if you can find it - especially on draught. I sampled this beer on draught at The Sussex in London (Leicester Square - W1?), England on 13-December-2008.

Cask (handpump) @ Charlie’s Bar, Pilestræde 33, Copenhagen, Denmark.Clear medium brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting - diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, caramel, fruity, light hoppy, dark berry acidic notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet, light acidic and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20081122]

From cask at Charlies. Pours clear and golden amber. Mild fruity and vague spiced aroma. Sweet malty and fruity flavoured with a light spice note. Lingering sweet fruity finish with mild set of spices. Mild roasted flavour emitying a mild acidic note. Light to slowly growing bitterness into the finish.
