A West Coast style American Pale Ale brewed with equal portions English Pale malt and German Vienna malt to provide lots of malt backbone and a dark straw color. The hop varietals are Millennium for bittering and Centennial for flavor and aroma. This brew is not for the hop impaired and is sought out by hop lovers.

Draught @ Mad Fox Brewing Company - Glover Park Taproom, Washington, DC. Pours nearly clear golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt, with hoppy and estery notes and hints of fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour, mwith heavy estery and malty notes and touches of bread. Bitter and rough aftertaste with notes of needles. Drinkable but nothing to write home about.

Some citrus and a big malt backbone here. On cask this certainly tastes more like an English pale ale. Finishes with light bitterness and some sourness. Pours hazy orange. Cask at Churchkey.
