This is the one that started it all. Brewed on the banks of the river Piddle, quaffed in pubs throughout the land. An amber ale with a note of citrus, Piddle is perfect when the only thing you want to take seriously is your beer. This is the one that started it all. Half pint from cask. Pours amber with a tiny white head. Light aroma of fruit, hops and citrus. Same aspects in flavour with a little toffee, moderate bitterness and light sweetness. Light to medium bodied with very soft carbonation. (offline rating from April 2012)

Cask at the Hope Pole Aylesbury, Easter Beer Festival 21-03-08 Pours dark amber with not much head, but looks a bit murky and hazy. Aroma is a little toffee as is the taste. There is actually plenty of flavour here but its a bit uncouth at times. The citrus zips about a bit and its fair to say it a better drinker than a looker.
