Enjoying this one at the Empire State building. Pours a cloudy golden colour. Strong caramel nose and grain. Taste is the same, but a little tamer. A little bitterness in the end. A nice session beer.

On tap sans lemon wedge. Pours with a hazy to murky yellow hued body with some good lace and decent retention from the white head. Aromas are bland, grainy, mild esters and mild caramel. Flavors are incredibly bland. grainy, caramel, wheat. Medium dry, lighter bitterness, malty. Medium bubbles, dry. Clean. Really not much here.

Draught at the brewpub. Weak lemon aroma, probably from the lemon slice that was on the glass rim. Cloudy orange colour. The flavour is a little sweet with some mango fruitiness. Low bitterness. Slightly strange, but works all right.

Draught at Heartland Brewery & Rotisserie, Empire State Building,on 23rd July 2009. Hazy gold appearance, fading off-white head. (2mm in small glass). Tangy with some intrinsic astringency. Some acidity and a few fruity notes, followed by a sharp finish on a smooth mouthfeel afforded by the beer’s softly carbonated nature.
