Our Imperial or Double IPA is a brew not to be taken lightly. Crafted in small batches from the finest European malts and American hops. A huge earthy hop aroma is followed by a pleasant caramel sweetness. Four hop varieties round out this perfectly balanced beer that is sure to warm your soul and for that we offer No Apologies!

Keg at Top Hops - NYC. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Good stuff, pretty sweet and oily. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Heavy on the finish with rich tropical fruits, oily hops. OK.

Drought. Hazy orange-yellow, large creamy white head, orange peel aroma, sweetish hoppy taste with orange flavor, medium finish. Very mellow for an IPA.

Först mild doft av frukter å gräs samt lite trä. Smakar söta torkade frukter å mycjet malt. Mycket Jordkällare . Tyvär efter kort stund övergår ölen i glasen till alkoholrika smaker. Synd .

Draught@Oliver Twist, Stockholm (backlog). Hazy orange colour, small off-white head. Aroma is resin, spruce, citrus, mild diacetylic notes as well as mild alcohol. Flavour is resiny, toffeeish, fruity citrusy and quite big on the bitter side of it. Still very pleasant flavour, though I’m not a big hophead.

Rich copper and light amber coloured body with a rich, thick three centimetre tall tan head - nice. Aroma of tons of bright grapefruity and piney hops with some resin, tons of alcohol and some sugars. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong hop flavours throughout with a ton of pine, resin, alcohol, malt, sugars and a bit of nice light fruits. Aftertaste shows some nice sweetness, plentiful amounts of alcohol and a lot of nice and pungent hops. Overall, a very nice Imperial IPA with some great flavours and a good sweetness - some complexity, but not in the league of some of the other ones. Still, this is nice to sample and well worth searching out. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased yesterday at Forager’s Cafe in Brooklyn (DUMBO), New York, New York on 13-July-2013 for US$13.29 sampled on the train back to Washington on 14-July-2013.

Growler from Ale Yeah! Hazy orange pour, with a big, off-white head. Aroma of butterscotch, pine, resinous notes, and honey. Musty sweetness, and a very aggressive bitterness. Heavy body, very astringent, and sticky. Overall, this is a very hoppy, creamy, and heavy DIPA. Very nice.

Associated Supermarket, Bushwicck growler: Pours an amber color with a whitish head. Aroma is citrus, flower, berry, and caramel malts. Taste is somewhat sweet. Alcohol is well covered. Some complexity and intermingling amongst the hop varietals. Not bad. Pretty easy to drink for a DIPA.
