Draught @Albion. Clear rich yellow with very small white foamy head, faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, citrus taste with little hops influence, abrupt finish leaving behind a slight lemon peel aftertaste. Smooth and balanced brew.

Sample at Ginger Man NYC. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium thin white head that evaporates quickly to an outer ring. Strings of lacing on the glass. Grassy hops, malt and fruit in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, toasted malt and citrus. The finish is mildly bitter with a hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Draft at Churchkey. Pours hazy orange with a small off white head. Aroma of citrus, pine, grapefruit, resin. Flavour is heavy bitter, overtopped like the heavy aroma to cope with the low abv. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft. Hazy golden color, white head, solid lacing. Aroma of scallions, chives, wet lumps of grass that you clean out from under your lawnmower. Taste is bitter fruity gras. Very nice.

Tap at Blind Tiger, Manhattan, 20/05/13. Hazed golden amber with a thin off white head. Nose is fresh hops, juicy tropical fruits, orange pith, grapefruit, light mango, mineral notes. Taste comprises hops, light pine bite, grapefruit, orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness in the finish. A great low ABV IPA.

I had this both from a 32 oz growler filled at the brewery and a shaker pint draft at The Pony Bar in New York. The pour is a light hazed orange golden with a well formed off white head. The head falls rocky, with nice lace. The aroma is softly bitter hops, resin, a bit of earth and a nice crackery maltiness. The taste is the resin hop bitterness up front, then some nice cracker, tea like malt, and a dry slight mineral finish. The palate is light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, and a nice un-filtered mouth feel. Great version of a concept I like quite a bit.

Location: Draft at Proletariat, 12/21/12
Aroma: The nose of this beer has some lemony/citrus hops, grass, and some pale malts
Appearance: It pours a hazed golden color with a white head, and mid-heavy lace
Flavor: Tastes mild sweet, mostly bitter, grassy, some citrus, all bitterness in end palate
Palate: Medium bodied, feels clean, somewhat lively carbonation, short duration, and finishes dry
Overall Impression: Interesting stuff. A low(ish) alcohol IPA. I called Lagunitas Day Time an IPA light, and this seems like another one in that style. Pretty well done too. I could drink a good amount of this one for sure, though its a touch to carbonated to be super sessionable for me.
