Yeah, it’s that good! HFS is our GABF 2016 Bronze medal winner in the Strong Ale category. This West Coast-style American IPA is light bodied and full of hop flavor and aroma. It pours a pale gold with a light, fluffy, off-white head. Featuring a combination of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Citra hops, HFS presents a bold tropical fruit explosion with hints of grass and pine balanced by a light and bready malt character.

clear yellow, smooth white head. strong hoppy aroma.fat and flowery, american style. flavor is lots of hops, pine, grapefruit, maybe a little bit exotic fruits, medium dry malty base, there is some sweetness but it fits perfectly to the hops bitterness. really good IPA.

Bottle. Clear translucent yellow gold color with a medium white head that recedes to a film. The aroma is robust with grapefruit, melons and lemon zest. This mirrors the aroma with bitter grapefruit and melons dominating. The palate is full and crisp with lively carbonation. overall: decent An old school type of IPA done well.

Thuis uit een blikje. Gouden kleur, licht troebel, wit schuim dat wat dun is. Aroma wat gist, hoppig. In de smaak een stevige bitterheid, wat citrus. Goede licht bittere nasmaak.

355 ml can. Unclear amber, foamy head. Resin, pine, caramel, zesty lemon notes, hops with a fruity hint of papaya and pineapples. Hoppy bitterness, malty sweetness. Full to medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, hoppy bittersweet finish. Great West Coast IPA, clean and straightforward but still fruity though.

Can at home. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Aroma is quite faint tbh. Flavor is malts, hops, decent hoppy bitters. Not very outspoken but alright.

Redelijk light qua smaak, maar de smaak die er is, is prima. Aardig bitter ook. Zon op de bek. Koude IPA. Lekker.

Frothy white head left a cover on a clear amber body. Malt & stewed fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a lighter cloying back. Malt, pine, stewed fruit, resin & pithy tastes with a very long bitter finish. Excellent WC

Can picked up from Saveur-Biere webshop, Lille, France consumed at home Friday 22nd January 2021 listening to Iggy Confidential on 6Music. We had Thai Green Curry and Loz made Spring Roll. Pours gold with a white head. Resinous and citrussy on the nose, in the mouth these two play out again in a good steady bitter and jolly pleasant beer.

3 bucks for this red & white can. Typical mild hopped pale ale beery nose, no BO for a change. Look, I don't like IPA and a can of IPA that foams all over my table and floor, really pist me off. Also, the taste is quite nasty, really. Its astringent as all hell; and has all of the nasty straight up ass characteristics of a bullshiter IPA. Yes, terribly on style, IPA that is. Its bitterness is not as well behaved and as tricky as better IPA, and, because of that bitter background, you know.......a little piercing astringent bite. The look of this beer is rather different, it looks like a higher gravity clear light okra orangish brown barley wine, or did I say it reminds me of a bear's ass whine? I guess its beer, but I'm not impressed. Do not worry, my say has been canceled anyway and that stupid donkey's backside astringent bite follows me all the way too dah-the finish.
