(Bottle) Reddish brown colour with brief, foamy, beige head. Malty, vinous nose with caramel, toasty malt, oak wood, dark bread, dried fruit, prunes and raisins. Malty, fruity, vinous taste with notes of caramel, dried fruit, prunes, raisins, figs, oak wood, burnt sugar and a vinous and warming finish with a balanced spicy bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Rich, tasty and well balanced barley wine. Very nice.

Flaska från SB. 2015 vintage. Bärnstensfärgad med lågt skum. Stor utvecklad doft med en hel del ek. Sammetslen. Djup och ganska komplex smakbild och fortfarande potent med värmande alkohol. Vanilj, torkad frukt, russin, mörkt socker, toffee, ek med en kryddighet, rött vin. Mycket gott.

Barely wine provning 2 olika Baronen från olika år och olika alkoholhalt . Denna rackare är fylligare än den andra. Doftar mer ek och smakar mer ek . Men på ett positivt sätt faktiskt . Dadlar och fikon i små mängder och rätt torr . Och kolsyran är perfekt 👌. Det krämar sig bara i munnen fint. Denna Baronen vinner då den är fylligare

Söt och maltig smak av russin, kola och farin. Mjuk och rund. Ekfaten ger en torr finish. Alkoholen värmer. Riktigt god.

Small bubbly mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet and dry mineraly, weeds, fruit stones, caramel malts, hay, bark, alcohol, minerals, chocolate, butterscotch, almond cake. Taste is slightly sweet, caramel malts, burnt sugar, dried fruits, minerals, fruit stones, ashes, hay, grass, butterscotch, weeds, alcohol. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh fruity mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Clear amber colour with a thin off-white head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, over ripe fruits, oaked notes and a lightly toasted note. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oliy texture and a flat carbonation. Finishes sweet with oaked notes and fruity notes. Very nice.

Bottle@yesprs - Dark Amber to brown with a beige head. Sweet malty with a mix of dried fruit, some caramel and toffee sweetness, some more dried fruit, medium body, some light spice into the sweet malty finish.
