Keg @ Brewdog Glasgow. Hazy copper colour, off-white head. Nose is massive pine hops. Flavour of pine and resin hops, a bit one-dimensional. Bitter and dry finish.

Keg at CP&K. It pours hazy dark orange-amber, with a massive fluffy yellow-white head and moderate carbonation. The nose is resin, pine, daisy and some sweet citrus. The taste is full of resin, wood, grass, light spice, cardboard and floral, with a massive bitter finish. Like easting a massive bag of hops. Unsurprisingly thin. Leaves a lingering astringent bitterness in the back of the throat. An interesting experiment, but that’s it.

On tap at Craft Beer. Hazy amber beer. Decent but short lived cream coloured head. Palate is semi crisp and semi dry but turns softer. Flavour is bitter orange and bitter grapefruit and bitter everything! A little minerals but the bitterness keeps going and keeps building. Semi dry finish and a (by now) unsurprising bitter aftertaste that just keep on and on!! Strewth this is one bitter brew and seems to be far more bitter than the regular or barrel aged versions. Alright though!

Draught at Københavnske Øldage 2011. Hazy amber, brief head. Extreme resiny grapefruit aroma. Mid dry with light body. Fruity and wacky where the extreme hops run crazy. Extreme resiny bitterness. A novelty without balance or purpose.

Amber with a small off-white head. Hoppy aroma of peach and pine with a grainy malt note. Pine hop flavour with extreme bitterness, not balanced by the rather thin body
