Bottle at home. Has a hazy reddish brown colour with a small, ivory head. Aroma of oak, vinegar, sour berries, dried fruit and some vanilla and licorice. The flavour is similar with more oak, caramel, forest floor and is a little sweet and light. Has a dry ending. Silky mouth feel, and has a light bitterness. This sour ale has a nice aroma and a sweet taste, and is pretty easy drinking.

Drought. Copper red with beige spongy head, sour cherry aroma, mild fruity taste with cheery flavor, smooth palate, fizzy, abrupt finish. Interetsing brew more like a wine cooler

21.03.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Small shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly sour-ish fruity, red sour berries, caramel malts, oak, sorrel, berry skin, paint, sugar, thinner, grain. Taste is harsh fruity, berry skin, grass, oak, red berries, thinner, hay, grain. Medium bitterness, dry harsh mouthfeel. Not my cup of tea.

Attempted to gush. Huge beige coarseish head. Deep brown body with light carbonation and small floaties. Earthy sugary vinuous aroma with syrupy wooden farmhouse notes. Dry-sweet earthy musty cake taste with toffee and caramel notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, fizzy mouthfeel. Dryish musty farmhouse and toffee aftertaste with lingering linoleum, paper, and candy notes. Interesting, unsual, and surprisingly enjoyable. (0.33l bottle, from Beermoth, Manchester.)

Syrlig duft av kirsebær. Brun farge, tynt lag skum, noe mer langs kant. Fin frisk smak av kirsebær med en syrlig ettersmak. Godt.

Bottle from The Davis Beer Shoppe. Pours dark ruddy copper with a slight beige head. Aroma is red wine, malt and light bourbon.Maybe a touch of vinegar. Med body, more or less. Flavor is "red wine", light brett, light bourbon, and some mildly astringent oak. It is very light and refined. Extremely delicious. Tho, sad to say, it’s hardly a patch on Dissident. Yet, Dissident comparatively suffers given the interesting approach here. So many good beers to compare.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a hazy medium amber with a frothy off white head and lots of bubbly lace. The aroma is yeast and zesty sherbet citrus. The flavour is moderate sour light bitter with a smooth bretty yeast, vinous, light citrus fruit palate.

Bottle. A hazy, dark amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head leaving lacings. The aroma has a light sourish touch, it’s fruity and with some dried fruits and caramel. A pleasant bitterness both initially and in the finish, with raisins, caramel, sourness and a touch of apples. Medium to full body with a nice carbonation level. Semi-sweet. Lasting finish. A tad too carbonated this one, but tasteful and easy drinkable anyway. 140301
