Bottle. Tastes of vegitables and sweet malt, a bit like a malt liqoure, but a bit more pleasant...

Bottle: Almost clear, chestnut-amber coloured, smaller - quite stable - off-white head; distinctive dry herbal-medical hoppy nose with sweet dark malt and a subtle fruitiness underneath; solid dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; solid and lingering bitter-hoppy finish, balanced by a touch of sweet fruits and malt. Pretty good.....

355ml bottle as K-9 Cruiser Winter Ale bought at a Super Best store on Vesterbro. Off-white head with good retention and fine lacing on the glass. Clear, dark amber body. Mild aroma of flowers, malts and spices. Sweet flavour of toffee malts combined with tart citric fruits. Well hopped ending with a dry, lingering bitterness on the swallow. Soft textured. Pretty alright (hotel room, Copenhagen 06.05.2010).

Draught at Ølbaren
Amber color; creamy head. There is aroma of fruity hop and some alcohol; mild. Caramel flavor with a decent hopping, both in strength and quality (a bit fruity and resiny). Pleasant but easily anonymous.

On tap at In de Wildeman. Clear deep amber/chestnut colour, dense off white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit, light spice and some caramel. Flavour is sweet, malty, citrus, light caramel, some spice, hoppy grapefruit bitter finish. Medium bodied. Not really a winter/christmas beer to European standards, just an IPA with a touch of spice. Nice one though.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Gilly's, 11/15/09
Aroma: Fairly faint nose, some mild caramel and toffee, and a drop of hops
Appearance: Pours a clear, dark orange color with a fizzy off-white head
Flavor: Taste is malty at first with some hop bite/bitterness near the conclusion
Palate: A somewhat light body with a relatively dry finish and a longish duration
Overall Impression: This is a decent beer, but it is little underwhelming. I feel like a lot more could have been done with this beer fairly easily to make it a whole lot better. It's somewhat dull until the hop bite that concludes the palate, which really doesn't do quite that much to make this beer standout either. It's not bad, it's not great, it's just kind of there. I certainly wouldn't say don't drink it, but you can probably do better.

Dark, reddish brown beer with weak beige head. Aroma is malty, grassy hopped, slightly sweet and stuffy. Flavour is malty, some roastiness and the end is like typical lager and quite dry. Quite easy to drink. Uninspirated and stuffy beer, my expectaions can’t be fullfilled with this beer. I will not buy this anymore.

Pours a nice taupe head with a clear amber brown body. Rich malty aroma. Tastes almost like a lager up front. All up into the malts after that. A hoppy tang right around the late middle. Some caramel. Pretty easy going down. I just like this style though.
