Bottled (From Systembolaget Umeå). Pitch black colour with a creamy mediumsized brown head, which leaves good lace. Aroma is roasted and toasted malts with some chocolate, mild lacose as well as some toffee tones. Flavour is toasted fudge, some chocolate, roasted malts, lactose and some sweet sugary tones. Like a dessert version of the normal one.

[33cl bottle at Beer 52's 2nd CyberFest.] A glossy black pour with a thin beige head; oaty aroma; smooth and oily in the mouth with an earthy, fruity coffee taste; and a silky, gently warming finish. An excellent after dinner drink.

330ml bottle: BBE Aug 2021. Drank at home on 7th Jun 2020, the second beer in my 'Dark Beer Tasting' with myself during the virus Lock In. This is a lovely viscous brew and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Black bodied with a tanned head of foam on top. Coffee and singed maltiness in the nose. Taste also has the coffee and over roasted malts as it's base, caramel sweetness and some liquorice flavours appear as the beer warms; nice, easy drinking beer all round, the 9% ABV helps too!
