On tap at Cervecería Oldenburg-Hermana Mayor, Madrid. Amber coloured, medium sized off-white head, mild fruity nose. Sweet malty, dried fruits and notes of caramel and alcohol. Quite odd (anise or something similar) but let’s say pleasant spicy hint in the finish.

33cl bottle at Pequeño Buda, Puerto de la Cruz. Slightly hazy brown with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with dried fruits, alcohol and hints of spices and yeast. Sweet and fruity with a lightly sour and bitter finish. Pleasant and fairly decent Belgian. (2013-01-01)

33cl bottle. Dark amber, almost brown beer, with a frothy off-white head of good duration. Aroma is sweet, yeasty and spicy. Flavour is dominating by sweet hints, caramel, brown sugar and dry fruits, with an alcoholic and moderate sweet final. Carbonation is medium to high. Body is medium to high.

clear caramelly brown, fluffty offwhite head. spicyt sweet cinnamon, fruity floweryt aroma. perfumey, caramel. rose buds, "syrener", works very well. flavor is flowery, caramelly bitter, quite balanced. mostly bitter but also syrupy and flowery sweet. I really liked this one, as it played with sweet flowery, spicy and bitter notes and keeping it relatively balanced.

33 cL bottle, as Te Deum Amber. Pours clear and deep amber with a small tan head. Aroma is sweet malty and light yeasty fruity. Spiced flavoured, yeasty and roasted malty too. Vague metallic note. Initially sweet yet with rather dry and spiced flavoured finish.

A light clear brown ale with a creamy thick off white head. A light non-descript caramel aroma. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt with light orange peels, light metallic hops, treacle, overall, rather cloying. Not very well done. Bought at El Corte Ingles, Barcelona, Mid Nov. 2006.

Another one of the great Te Deum series I have been privileged to sample. This one has a caramel sweet nose, with some fruits. Amber colour, white foamy head. Very carbonated. Flavour has caramel and some spices. Average beer, but thus far Te Deum´s primus inter pares.

Dark brown color. Some aroma of caramel and candi sugar. Medium-light body structure, quite dry, with just some caramel taste. A bit more character than the Bruin, less sweet. Boring.
