Slightly hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma is sweet grains, white wine, bread. medium thin body. Flavor is mostly bread dough malt, light earthy hop note. A bit odd and the aroma and flavor seem mis-matched.

Bottle, 4.2%. Slow gusher. Refreshing citric aroma, hint of piney hops. Clear yellow colour, sparkling. The flavour has a mild note of the same pine as the aroma. Otherwise quite mild. Not as clean as a real Kölsch, but a good try.

330ml bottle, 4.2% ABV, at Monks Café Wallingatan. Nice bottle design. Pours near-clear golden body, diminishing white head. Discreet aroma of grassy hops. Smooth mid-sweet fruits in flavour. Rounded bitter ending. Oily palate. Soft on the swallow. Watered (Stockholm, 13.09.2010).

Ok. Test vom 11.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,8,8,14,7 - 7,95

Bottled. Very waterblended pale yellow colour, with small white head that disappears fast. Aroma is saltwater, slight vegetables and even a bit of alcohol. Flavour is malts, saltwater and paper.

Bottled, thanks fiulijn! Clear pale yellow, very brief head. Fruity grassy nose with a whiff of vegetables. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with spritzy rounded muthfeel. Notes of vanilla. Low bitterness. Fairly light flavoured, but IMO remarkably similar to the bottled kölsches I’ve head from Cologne.

Bottled (BB 07/2007)
Pale yellow color, small white head. Typical Kölsch-nose: fruity and papery. Very stylish Kölsch: fruity and malty flavor ... and boring as many of them are. But suprisingly good for being from Turkey!

Draught at the brewpub in Atiye Sokak, Istanbul
Light blond color. Light beer, but at least with light crispy malt. Light but very nice hoppy aroma (Saaz-like). The flavor is perhaps too watery. Good bitterness lever, also some residual sweetness at the end.

Bottle in one of the North Shields Pubs in Istanbul. This beer poured a straw yellow colour and was served a little too cold for my liking. Some yeastiness and wheat tastes with an impressive bitterness, good hops, really refreshing very good beer. look forward to this if it’s on tap at the brewpub.
