Can, just hazy gold with a collapsing white head. Pleasant but slightly shy aroma of oranges, Meyer lemon, honeydew melon, some bread. Medium bodied. Taste is a lot more assertive with strong bitterness and under-ripe tropical fruit joining the citrus. The aromatics and bitterness just stop short of overwhelming the fairly meek malt. Pretty good - mismatch between sniff and swig was a bit of a downside. --- Beer merged from original tick of Hop Disciples (2018 Ekuanot) on 18 Jul 2018 at 12:36 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 8. 12 oz can. Canned in January, hopefully still good. Aroma is bready, lightly juicy, melon, raspberry jam, lemon. Pours hazy golden with lots of sediment floating around under a thick cream-colored head with excellent retention and lace. Taste is moderately bitter with citrusy and pithy flavors. A lot juicier in aroma than flavor. Pretty average IPA, but there are no flaws, which is awesome considering it's four months old. I wonder if the juiciness would have popped more if it was fresher.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent light gold with a white head that quickly minimalized. Aroma is tropical, with floral notes. Med body or better. Flavor is kind of mixed - citrus, minor tropicals, and something that might be evergreen. Seems very dry. Decently bitter.
