Sampled @ Gents Bierfestival 2015 Trübes rötliches Bier mit einer sehr geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch nach roten Beeren, muffig. Geschmack sehr süß, roten Beeren, gering bitter.

Sample @ 6de Gents Bierfestival 2015. De couleur acajou trouble, col finement rosé. Arôme offre un bouquet marqué de mûre mais dont le rétro nasal est nettement adouci par rapport au bouquet attendu de ce genre de fruit. Palais met bien l’accent sur le fruité tout en gardant un profil doux qui en est presque surfait. Fine pointe aigre-douce avec un malté laissant plus penser à une bière de table.

Deep red, pinky color and head, some lace. Blackberry/blueberry aroma. Medium-bodied. Berryish, dryeish, grandma juice feeling. Stevia gives annoying artifical touch. Not very enjoyable.

(Thx! for sharing) Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Gents Bierfestival 2015. Deep red with a pink head. Nose is awful intense sweetness, nasty, rotting berries, something “chemical”, unquestioningly Stevia which while indeed very sweet tastes awful. Taste is same horrible, chemical / plant like sweetness, aspirin, plant, intense weird sweetness, rotting fruits, awful berries,… Sweetness is ridiculously over the top & unpleasant. Fizzy & plant / chemical / whatever body. Emelisse trying to appeal to a different kind of crowd? Whatever it is, this one was hard to stomach.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Clear dark red color, average to medium sized pink head. Smell and taste are very very fruity, it really is blackberry or at least a red fruit juice. (Dutch) smaakt precies als geconcentreerd bosbessensap. Quite well brewed but too strong on the blackberry fruit for me to really like it. Impressive brewing though.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared by benzai. Purple colour with a small pink head. Smells blackberry, fruity, slightly sour. Tastes fruity, blackberry, not sweet and not sour. Nothing crazy. Medium body, soft carbo.

Clear dark purple beer, irregular creamy purple to pink head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of blackberries, bit funky. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet fruity start, bit sugary, soft sourness, bit lemony, syrupy touch. Aftertaste: elderberries, fruity, some blackberry jam, sweet, syrupy, soft sourness, slightly bitter. Too sweet to my liking. Why in heavens would anyone add stevia to beer?

Bottle at Kent BF 2015. Reddish blackberry colour lasting pink head. BlackBerry Fruit Aroma And flavour it’s got a balance of sweet and sour. I kinda liked it.
