Minimális, gyor san elolvadó, bézs hab, fekete szín. Kakaós, csokis, vaníliás, fahordós, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok. Csokis, kakaós kávés, aszalt szilvás-cseresznyés ízek, komoly vaníliás, whiskey-s hordós aromákkal és egy kis füsttel, némi karamellel. Leheletnyit édeskés, lágy, testes, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Nagyon finom, tökéletes arányokkal. Igazi nagyágyú.

Bière 33 cl. Robe brune avec une fine couche de mousse brune. Nez sur le caramel et le bourbon, notes fumées. En bouche, bière forte, puissante, sympa mais pas non plus exceptionnelle : fut de chêne, raisin, figue, bourbon, manque un peu de complexité, un poil trop portée sur le sucre et sur le caramel.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 13.05.2019) im 2020-03 getrunken. Dieses fassgereifte Wee Heavy hat frisch aus dem Kühlschrank eine deutliche Bitterkeit die später an kräftige Schokolade erinnert. Wärmer wird das Ale deutlich malziger. Das Bourbon BA ist schon sehr deutlich, aber harmoniert nur schwer mit der Bitterkeit - geschweige das es sie ausgleicht.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark brown, almost black, with fine cream foam. Aroma is intensely sweet of molasses, caramel, raisins, Bourbon. Body is very smooth and relatively thick, with soft tickling carbonation. It develops quite some warmth. Taste is intensely sweet, with a nice soft feeling too. Final is fairly long and sweet, liquorish.
