Tap @ Baladin, Roma. Nice head with excellent duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are rich roast malt, chocolate, lots of bitter hops and fruit.

Fra flaske på Mi2 Cardinal feb-17: et øl som trygt kan kjøpes igjen - brunsvart med flott skum som varer, intens og god aroma og smak med grapefrukt, mørk kaffe og like mørk sjokolade, tørr og lekker, velbalansert! Noen godt modne solbær helt i slutten?

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.3%. Black colour, moderate beige head. Fresh aroma of fruity and piney Galaxy hops, also some mild roasty notes, hints of coffee. The flavour is slightly on the dry side, distinct hops, but also more distinct roast malts here, with notes of strong bitter coffee and dark bitter chocolate. Plenty of bittering hops in the finish.

Shared bottle at Mi2 at Cardinal 13.02.17. Aroma of roasted malt, fresh coffee and grapefruit. Similar and well-balanced taste, also with vanilla and dark chocolate. Medium long bitterness. Complex and harmonious.

Shared bottle at Cardinal, Stavanger. Pours black with beige head. Aroma of pine needles, tropical fruits, some roasted notes. Tastes bitter with some sweetness. Thin bodied, bitter finish, dry mouth feel.

Bottle. Very dark brown color, tan foam. Aroma: sweet, caramel, slightly burnt, citrus and fruit. Taste: burnt caramel, good hop bitterness.

Colasvart med høyt lys brunt skum. Luktet mørke frukter, kakaopulver og noe havre. Middels til lett. Søtlig smak, mer porter enn IPA i starten på denne. Kakaopulver og noe tørket frukt. Bitterheten kommer på slutten. Middels lang.

0,1l from bottle at Craft Bier Fest Wien shared with a friend. black color, small coffee-colored head. smells of licorice, coffee, bit nutty, some hop notes. nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of coffee, tea notes, spices, licorice, nutty. finishes lightly bitter with notes of caramel, licorice and tea notes. quite nice one, lacks some hop notes / maybe not the freshest, but still quite enjoyable.

Bottle picked up at the brewery bottle shop. At the campsite in bologna. A dark brown black coloured pour with a lasting dark tan frothy. Aroma is jammy fruit, berries, burnt pine needle, soft charred roasted malts. Flavour is composed of bitter roasted malts, charred wood, burnt pine and earth. Jammy fruits. Palate is medium bodied, highish carbonation. Lingering big bold bitter roast and hop. Good.
