Taster at the brewery Taproom as ‘Dainton Choc Orange Porter’ (the ABV fits). Pours cola colour, tan top. Aroma: roasted malts, chocolate, hint of vanilla. Taste: light sweet, light bitter, roasted malts, chocolate, subtle hint of orange. Medium bodied, average carb, dry, light bitter finish

Can. V dark brown with an inch of light tan head. 3+ Aroma of orange peel, not juice, chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt. 7+ Body is a bit on the light side and it's quite fizzy. Not too sweet with some roast and bitterness as well as the chocolate (milky but still slightly darker than a Terry's Chocolate Orange - clearly the theme here), vanilla and (less prominent than expected) orange. Just needed a hint of bottom end rumble. Pretty good, very drinkable, not too much of a dessert beer albeit could work as one.
