(Can) Pours hazy dark red brown with loose off-white head. Nice aroma - toffee, roast nuts, pine. Nice palate - medium bodied, good carbonation, almost sticky. Taste is hoppy. There’s some pine notes at the start which quickly give way to some nice bitterness that builds steadily into a long finish. There’s good balance from rich dark toffee bittersweetness. Very nice.

Can. Brown with an off white head. Aroma of toasted bread crusts, pine, kumquats, mild spices. Medium bodied, just about. Sweet with caught berry jam overtaking bread crust, tropical fruit - passionfruit, glazed pineapple - before slightly spicy bitterness struggles up. Dries out a bit. How on earth is this 7%? I'm often not big on the hoppy amber/ red IPA because the elements don't complement each other.
