Medium golden color. Frothy white head. Passionfruit, guava and grassy nose. Medium aggressive bitterness with slightly odd perfumy fruit character in the mouth that I didnt particularly care for. Nonetheless, well balanced and enjoyable.

Celebrating the start of my summer vacation! Sailors Grave Drowned Man IPA 4.8% West coast type aroma featuring zesty citrus hops with rye bread peppery malt character. Medium to full bodied with a classic and satisfying flavor that hits the spot.

Can. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has notes of grass and light citrus with a bit of grain underlying. Flavor is similar with grass and grain up front and a bit of a citrus bite underlying.

From a 355ml can on 15/2/2019. Pours a clearish medium golden with a medium head. Has a slightly herbal aroma with a hint of citrus fruit. Has a bit of bread and biscuit malt, a bit of muted fruity sweetness and a fairly firm herbal bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. Presents more as an APA than an IPA. Drinks bigger than 4.8%. All up, a bit muddled and uninspiring.

355ml can into pint glass. Golden amber beer with big frothy white head and high fine carbonation. some patchy lacing. Nose has notes of malt and citrus fruit. Nice smooth mouthfeel with a little refreshing zing. Finish is earthy, herbal, bitter but restrained. Very nice IPA, quaffable and full of interesting flavours.

Can. Pale amber, slightly hazed. White head lasts very well. Aroma of nectarine, mandarin, pineapple, some bread crust. Light bodied, fairly fizzy. Not all that sweet, but with sweet stone and tropical fruit, then really quite dry and a bit astringent as well as bitter at the end. As ever, I can see this sort of thing as a dust cutter but can't imagine drinking several in a row.

It has a lovely spread of aromas including rockmelon, peach, grapefruit, honey, nougat and a little malt. The malt backbone is lacking when tasted, but I guess you’re forewarned when you’re told it’s a session IPA. It has considerable bitterness showing predominantly lemon notes.
