From a 330ml bottle on 197/2017. Pours a clamber with a small to medium head. The nose features smoky bacon and some campfire ash. In the mouth, it’s peaty, meaty and smoky as you’d expect, with some sweet caramel and moderate to firm roasty bitterness finishing things off. Medium bodied with average carbonation. An enjoyable smoked beer which exhibits nice balance.

330ml can into schooner glass. Hazy golden bronze beer with thin white head. Many tiny bubbles. Faint malt nose with an fainter background of peat. Sweet smoky flavour. Finish is long with lingering earthy bushfire notes. Nice enough but there are better Australian Rauchbiers around.

Can. Clear amber with an inch of cream head that’s soon a coat. 3+ Aroma of smoke, sticky bread crusts. Moderately sweet with subtle finishing bitterness. In between there’s smoke, bread, some wood. Plainer than their stronger Smoke and the better for it. Good.
