The beer pours a vibrant reddish purple color. This pour was quite clear, not even any haze. Fizzy pinkish head blooms up quickly, but it dies down after a couple minutes. Lots of lacing. The aroma has raspberries and funk but with a touch of artificial sweetness. Some jamminess to the fruit flavor. Funk is pretty mild but provides a nice fruity, barnyard flavor. Taste is moderately sweet with a nice tangy sourness. Mild to moderate acidity. The sweetness is actually pretty nicely balanced against the tangy sourness. It’s very easy to drink. No real off notes. Fizzy with a little body and pretty light pucker. I liked this more than I expected to.

Poured from a 375ml bottle at Cardinal in Stavanger, thanks to Sigmund for sharing. Patchy, pink layer to a cloudy red-brown body. Drying aroma of raspberry. Taste of juicy raspberry, earth, and strawberry. Mix of semi-dry tartness and sweetness towards the ending. Natural soft carbonated. Drinks well, gets a bit too sweet after a few sips though (great time with the RBHD-crew in Annen, 18.06.2015)

Poured from a 375 ml bottle. Aroma is raspberry forward with a nice jamminess and a light berry seed note. Some medium light acidity with hints of citrus and tropical fruit. Some light barnyard funk. Pours a slightly cloudy, bright, purple red with a large, thick, rocky, pink head that exhibits nice retention as it never completely recedes. Flavor is balanced between sweet and sour with some jammy sweetness upfront. Moderate acidity with some nice medium citrus and tropical fruit notes. A moderate bitterness with some seed notes. Light barnyard funk. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice framboise but I still prefer ones with age that have had some time to develop a bit of nice funk. Nice tropical fruit and citrus notes to help balance out all the sweet raspberry character.

Bouteille 375ml, 2012. Couleur rouge-orangé trouble, mousse beige teintée de rose. Arôme de françoise, confiture de framboise, côté un peu moisi. Goût de framboise, acidité moyenne-faible terreux, vieux fruits, champignon arrière-goût. Carbonatation moyenne-faible, corps moyen.

375ml bottle. Reddish colour, pink foam head and aroma of raspberry jam, funk. Taste is sour, fruity raspberry, citric rind, barnyard. Sharp mouthfeel, medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, tart lingering finish. Nicely drinkable.

Bottle. Light ruby with small pink head. Dough, raspberries, red berries, cherry pits, light yoghurt, hay, yeasty. Light sweet with earthy dry finish, with some woody bitterness. Medium bodied with slick feel and very dry at the end. Interesting stuff, quite different from other fruit lambics.

Klares orangerotes Bier mit einer geringen pinken Schaumkrone. Geruch nach frischen Himbeeren, leicht säuerlich, süß. Geschmack fruchtig säuerlich, frische Himbeeren, leicht pelzig, holzig.

Helder rood bier met schuim. Smaak is droog, licht zuur en lichte framboos smaak. Meestal is dit soort bier erg overdreven en soms wat chemisch van smaak maar deze is erg neutraal. Gewoon goed, maar niet bijzonder.

Pink appearance with well visible pearls and little foam. Aroma is perfumy raspberries, sweet, but not overpowering. A bit of oak and a bit of funk. Taste is dry and fruity-sour, a bit of oak. Dry finish, a good tempting framboise!
