A cracking session IPA. Triple dry hopped, with well balanced malt to offset the mid-high bitterness. A piney and resinous overzealous display of American hops.

Hops: Centennial, Amarillo, Mosaic and Chinook

On tap at the Australian Brewery, pours a cloudy copper orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out piney hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is quite weak, with light floral hops and biscuity malt. Light and low in sweetness with barely any bitterness. Quite weak.

Schooner on tap @ the Hive. Deep amber with solid white head. Heavy carbonation. Light citric nose. Gorgeous hop notes followed by pine, resin, grain. Citrus background, dry finish. Good beer!

At the brewpub. Hazy dull amber. Medium head. Fairly bright mosaic hops, but with malty chewiness. Has light bitterness, and the chewiness isn’t really there on the palate. Has a nice hop character and bitterness in the finish.

Can, as All Star Session IPA. Amber with a frothy white head. High bead. Aroma of kumquat, pine, some mango and peach, a touch of caramel. On the thin side and highly carbonated. Not much to the malt side of things except caramel, and that takes the edge of the citrus. But there’s plenty there and a fair bit of pine at the fairly bitter finish. A bit astringent from all the bubbles too. But nice US hops and very clean.
