Bottle, 2024 vintage. Dark fruit aroma with notes of Candi sugar, caramel, toffee, spicy Belgian yeast, banana and clove. Pours deep, cloudy toffee brown colored with a large tan head that has excellent retention and good lacing. Starts with dark fruit, caramel, toffee and banana flavors as well as having a rich, full body and chewy mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with Candi sugar, spicy Belgium yeast and clove flavors. As always, an excellent quad.

Old rating from 2019 - Brought from the brewery 4 years ago & stored in my cellar. Dark in colour. Plums and dark fruit aroma with a bit of bread. Medium carbonation with a sweet bitterness. Extremely well balanced. The high ABV is so well hidden. Outstanding!

From the bootlegger Paris, enjoying with my home made pizza this beauty of the world, giving you strongness in this crazy world of the growth. Rich and subtle with notes of malt, smooth, aroma of plum, cherry and toffee, yeasty, discreet hop, oh yes!!!! 05.11.2021
