330ml bottle into schooner glass. Good sweet wheat nose. Pale cloudy beer with big lasting head. Very active small bubbles. Fizzy soft drink palate with developing banana and pepper notes. Quite interesting.

From a 330ml bottle on 1/12/2014. Pours a cloudy straw colour with a big white head which subsides a bit after a while. Has a light spicy aroma with hints of wheat and clove. Take a sip and it’s rather pleasing with sweet and tart citrus fruit, some distinct Belgian yeast and spicy notes and a hint of banana lolly. Has a slightly creamy palate with lively carbonation. Have seen this at Dan Murphy’s for a while now and thought it was time to sample. I’ve not found many brewers who make a good fist of a Belgian white but these guys have actually done a really good job. A pleasant surprise and will definitely try again if I’m looking for a bit of a break from Hoegaarden.

Bottle. Hazy orange with a large white head. Mild wheat, orange and pepper aroma. Very light-bodied. Quite dry with modest citrus notes and a pepper and clove finish. Refreshing. Not bad at all for a mystery brew.
