At a tasting, thanks YK23, Big fluffy had, murky light orange colour, yeasty aroma with cheese and spice and piney hops, strong herbal bitterness and that cheesiness, feels quite unbalanced with too much carbonation. Not too good.

(bottle, 33cl, 7.8% abv) Cloudy, orange to amber colour with a huge off-white rocky foamy head. Fruit-accented, slightly zesty and flowery aroma with notes of lemon, peaces and a touch of cara-malt. Quite bitter flavour with a tinge of malty sweetness, medium to full bodied with a moderate carbonation. Mildly malty start with fruity and zesty hops; dry mouthfeel; a bit slim finish with an almost harsh resiny hoppy bitterness. Exciting but not overly great. 02.I.11

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks YK23. Muddy orange with a white head. Aroma of yeast, fruits and slightly floral hops. Flavor starts with yeast and fruits and continues with bitter hops with a bit of grapefruit. Medium-bodied with strong carbonation.

Little cloudy amber to dark orange beer, off-white towering creamy head, stable and adhesive. Aroma: fruity hops, funky yeast, grassy. MF: soft but sufficient carbon, light to medium body. Taste: citrus and exotic fruits, grassy hops, some malts. Aftertaste: citrus and grapefruit with clear yeast notes. Very long lasting dry finish.

bottle from Bierkompass.de. A very lively beer, it seems, can’t wait to be poured and starts to pour itself all over the place. Cloudy pale yellow, enormous, bubbly, white head. Hoppy nose. Shy malty base, lots of resiny dry bitter hops. Not very much like an IPA, the citrus flavours of the hops and a stronger malty base are missing. Intensive carbonation. Nevertheless, this is a very nice and very bitter beer.

Bottle from Bierkompass. Poured orange/golden color with a huge fluffy white head, some of it poured out on the table I opened the bottle. Aroma is very yeasty with spices and nice fruity notes. Flavor is very hoppy. Yeast in flavor as well. with a fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Interesting brew.

Bottle from Utobeer Market Stall. Orange pour with a beige head. Tangerine, grapefruit, cinnamon, peach and pear aromas. A little floral too. Crisp citrus feel. Good herby, hoppy finish.

Huge dirty hop aroma with citrus and grass. Dirty brown, coudy color. Again, a dirty, earthy hops flavor with fruit and malts. IPA-style. Great hops, with a very nice sour, fruity edge as well. Great stuff.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge orangey head - a bit over carbonated. The aroma has notes of grapefruit, malt, dusty hops, and brettanomyces. The flavor is sweet with notes of brettanomyces, grapefruit, spices, and straw, leading to a dry spicy finish. Thanks to the boys at Struise for giving me this for my 40th birthday - and yespr for being the messenger.
