The OG Love Tap. "Love tap, baby, love tap babeeee! .. Something and a something .. As big as a whale … Huggin' and a dancin' and a lovin' and wearin' next to nothing … And it's about to set sail to the love tap." Pretty sure (almost certain) they weren't the exact words. But we reckon if they were they'd be a bang on way to describe this new world craft lager. It's got a big shmack of citrusy, tropical hops and a clean, crisp finish. Enjoy!

Sweet biscuity malts. Abundant hops. Amber. Bitter. Fresh, high quality nouveau pils. This surprised me, what a solid everyday lager it was.

Bottled (2013, backlog). Orangeish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is citrus, grains, mild floral and resiny notes. Flavour is resin, birchsap, caramel, mild floral and earthy notes along with some nectary notes. Quite alternative lager.

330ml bottle into middie glass. Hoppy nose with some malt. Cloudy golden amber, creamy small head. Little carbonation. Bitter taste with even more bitter aftertaste. There’s some toasted malt and alcohol notes mixed in there. Not really a lager, not really a pils, not an IPA. Interesting but not really enjoyable.

Bottled at Cookie, Melbourne, Victoria. Clear deep golden, small head. Floral lychee aroma. Mid sweet with above medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Slightly phenolic with tangerine and grapefruit. Long bitter finish.

Bottle 330ml @Beer Hunters
Hazy orange color, small white head. A bit grainy, fruity, some citrus in the nose. Medium-bodied. Grainy, some orange jelly, citrus. Good attempt to fool ale drinkers.

33cl bottle. Slightly hazy golden, thin white head. Grassy, hoppy, fruity aroma. Flavor similar, hoppy, hay, grassy notes. Not bad at all.

Bottle. Golden amber with a white head. Grainy aroma with kumquat, pine, passionfruit, grass, caramel. Sweet with grain and caramel, spicy and rather crude bitterness. OK, but not what I looking for in a lager.

Pours amber with a fading head.Very hoppy aroma, more piny, grassy and floral than fruity though. Also a fair whack of spicy hops later. Some biscuity sweet malt underneath.Pretty aggressive flavours, lots of piny and spicy hops followed by biscuity and grainy malt. Finishes dry with a resounding bitterness.A little too highly carbonated.
