On tap. Pours pale. Peach, apricot, lots of honey, bit of an alcohol kick, some biscuit. For a silly strong lager, this is bizarrely easy to drink. Thumbs up.

Bottle from Legacy Liquor, Vancouver; bb 17.10.13
Blond color with small head, a bit dull. Delicate malt aroma with cereal scent, light citrusy, light chamomile. Lean mouthfeel, chewy malt flavor, cereals, soft, and a mild chamomile/citrus touch; correct bitterness.
Old bottle, but nice on the malts.

Bright clear gold beer with a good white head. Mild marmalade hops on the nose. Palate is light and mildly crispy from the fine carbonation. Clean pale malt. Nice hops - marmalade orange and a little fresh grapefruit and mango. Touch of aniseed before the neutral finish. Nice lager!

Bomber from Pangaea. Pours gold with a creamy/bubbly white head. Aroma is mildly bready with citrus and grass. Med body. Flavor is fairly bready with a lot of noble hop spice. It’s pretty happy. Definitely bitter, and drinks nicely.

Bottle, 9C. Orange with a fine white head that lasts pretty well. Aroma of hay, spices, some lychees, gooseberries, a touch of alcohol. Taste is sweet and boozy with berries, hay, light caramel, grass and spices. A bit throat-burning at the end, but before that it’s pleasantly soft and slightly creamy in a very pilsener way. Bitterness comes to the fore after a while. Not my sort of beer.
