Can’t believe how low this beer scores; it’s a perfect example of a underrated style. Notes of cereal grains, apple, white bread, grass, and a touch of vanilla, followed by a mild floral bitterness. Not just a good bridge beer for non-craft drinkers, but a good beer period.

Pours amber with a thin white head. Aroma of grassy malt. Taste has light Pilsen malt, lightly sweetened. Palate has increasing Pilsen notes as the nose note matures, vague note reminiscent of perfume. good.

Tall boy can from Holiday Market. Pours a clear straw gold with a fluffy white head that dissipates. Peppery nose with some light buttered bread aromas. Dry and minerally on the palate. Crisp and clean, very drinkable. Good carbonation...bone dry finish with light crackery malt, mineral and lingering pepper. Great summer crusher.

(Bottle) Golden colour with brief, frothy, white head. Malty, slightly spicy nose with notes of white bread, honey, grass, flowers, citrus and lemon peel. Malty, fruity taste with white bread, honey, peaches, flowers, citrus and a mild floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Flawless kölsch, but hardly exciting. Enjoyable.

Clear, perfectly transparent golden, with an average sized large-bubbles white head that shows decent retention and some lacing. Rather subdued aroma shows cereal and slight hay plus light fruity notes of apple and lemon. Taste is brighter and a bit more complex. Cereal and slightly crackery malt base, fruity notes of lemon and apple, a grassy moderately bitter presence that gets a bit more vivid in finish and aftertaste. Overall this is light to medium sweet and light to medium bitter, with very good balance in both taste and aftertaste. Nice mouthfeel is light bodied with average carbonation; nicely lively on the mouth, still goes down super-easy. A good example of the style.
