330ml bottle into schooner. Grainy citrus nose, very pale yellow beer with solid white head. Medium carbonation. Sharp mineral water texture and taste. Finish is grainy and lightly citric with rockmelon right at the end. Average ’Aussie’ pale ale. Why is it classified as a Cream Ale?

Bottle from StarmoreBoss, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Film of mucky white head. Sweet, juicy malt. Light citrus. Rubber. Taste is mostly dry, with a little malty sweetness. Decent body. Finish is dry. Quite enjoyed this, on a hot day. Gone in 60 seconds...

Some citrus flavours coming through followed by some malt. Not great as far add paddle ales go.

(bottle) Unattractive pale straw, with no head. Aroma is grainy with just detectable hints of citrus and maybe candy. Pleasant palate: light body, well carbonated. Rather thin flavour, but OK. A bit grainy, with some citrus hints and some light, but a bit metallic, bitterness in finish. Overall, drinkable but bland and lacking in character.

Bottle. Clear, pane gold with plenty of fizz. Hay, sweetish malts and a hint of citrus, before a dryish finish. So-so.

Pours gold with a small head.Nose shows nutty malt, honey and floral hops. Not a heap going on.Similar flavours, hops come into play a little more with a faint resinous character. Nice malt.Carbonation is much too high.

From a 330ml bottle on 10/10/2010. Has a slight grassy, malty smell to it. When it hits the mouth, it’s sweet with some mild citrus and honey flavours. Has a very faint bitterness at the end. All up, this is fairly non-descript, and lacking in personality.

Bottle. Very pale orange with a modest white head. Smells of orange oil and grains. Taste is startlingly orange and lemon with little in the way of malt. Very empty-tasting. Bitterness is modest but quite sharp. I liked their pilsener, it was a warm day and I’ve just walked the dog: all conditions favourable to it. But no.
