It’s an uncomplicated, anytime sort of beer with a Mountain Goat twist. Thanks to a generous allotment of Australian Galaxy and Ella hops and a painstaking fermentation schedule we’ve landed on this clean, balanced lager.

It’s one very enjoyable beer.

Tap at the Public House, Melbourne. Big on the Grapefruit this one but with slightly more sweetness than tang. Easy drinking lager.

Can from onkel Per. Clear golden, white head. Sweet malt, crackers and vague hops aroma. Malty flavour, light bitter hops, some fruity notes too. Not too bad.

9/10/2022. Can from Beer Cartel. Pours clear pale golden with a slight green tint and a frothy white head. Aroma is grassy, hoppy, citrus, sweet malts. Medium sweetness and moderate sweetness. Moderate body, slightly watery, quite fizzy. Bitter grapefruit and slightly metallic finish. Not bad.

(Can) Pours clear amber with reasonable somewhat loose white head. Pleasant fruity aroma - pine, mango, hints of fruit cordial. Light body, rather fizzy carbonation. Taste is a let down though, watery and thin. There’s some tangy fruit at the start. There’s a somewhat unpleasant metallic finish. Drinkable.

375ml can into shaker. From Liquorland, Revesby. Nose is fruit cordial and grass. Pale amber, low carbonation, big frothy head. Some lacing. Light body. Touches of herbal bitterness make it quite interesting. Nice 'crafty' variation on a lager.

'Can. Gold with a loose white head. Aroma is not exactly vibrant but there are clear notes of mandarin, melon, passionfruit (Ella?) as well as some crackers. But it''s rather thin and there''s little to support the fruity hops which seem a bit weedy as a consequence. A little pineapple astringent too. But it''s OK and not the complete dumbing down I''d suspected.'
