3/VIII/13 - 33cl bottle from De Hopduvel (Gent) @ my parents' place - BB: II/2015 (2013-682)
Clear dark blond beer, big irregular creamy off-white head, pretty stable, little adhesive. Aroma: fruity, citrus, bit spicy, sweet malts, some orange peel, cloves, bit grassy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet sugary start, honey, candied orange peel, little bitter, some almonds. Aftertaste: sweet and sugary touch, nice bitterness, orange peel. Although subtle, still pretty complex and interesting. Nice example of a Belgian Ale.

Bottle @ home. Unclear orange color, medium sized white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Aroma of lightly malts, some sweetness, lightly fruity. Taste light to moderately malts, a bit sweet, fruityness, apricot. Lightly some bitterness in the finish, medium body, medium to full carbonation.

Very good, dense yellowish head over lively carbonated, yellow-orange beer. Caramel & toasted malts, grassy & gassy, freshly sprouting garden weeds. Bitterish-spicy flavour, slight restsweetness backthroat. Serious dose of hops, but bitterness remains restrained, and hopflavourcharacteristics are nondescript. Again bit weedy-grassy. Warming up, faint almondy falvour appearing. Spritzy, light to medium bodied. Bit watery, if not really empty. Easy-drinking beer, unspectacular, but also problemfree. Pathetic namegiving, however;
