Showcasing the malts from Canterbury New Zealand, balanced with heady aromatic NZ hops. Big, bold, proud. A fresh hop aroma with cut grass and citrus. Left with a clean dry finish from an ale yeast that’s fully feasted, leaving an estery note.

Can from The Made Inn Ashford and drunk on a picnic blanket. Amber colour lasting cream head. Fruity hoppy aroma as I poured it. Grapefruit pine resin. Big pine resin flavour. Bitter some caramel. Some pineapple. Yep west coast style ipa. Decent.

330ml can sophiesbeerstore.co.uk. Rusty amber looks, white head. Aroma of caramel malt, pine. Taste continues on the caramel theme, big west coast character, pine with a robust bitterness. Decent.

Can at the Beer Bank, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy medium amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, peachy, passion fruit, light toffee, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter sweet, with a crisp, mellow toffee caramel, light citrus, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Judging by the price this is a premium product, which really doesn’t live up to expectations.

Can. Orangish amber with a white head. Aroma of blood oranges, light biscuit. Taste follows until a rush of grassy bitterness at the end that maybe unbalances it a bit. Still, a cheery and tasty drop.

On tap at taproom. Amber in colour. Pine and biscuit nose. Another well-balanced effort from these guys. Slightly chewy, malty hop-forward IPA. Seek out.
