Can. Not exactly overbearing. A little grainy with some caramel. Really watery. Very low bitterness. Clean and wet.

375ml bottle at Prickly Cactus, Launceston. Nose of plastic malt. Golden amber beer with fluffy white head which stays and laces well. The odd stray bubble shows itself. Medium body, bit of zing. Finish is vegetal and malty with a touch of tin. Different to other Aussie macros but not necessarily better.

Hazy yellow color. Foamy white head. Sweetish malt aroma. Metallic sour hop flavor. Highly carbonated. Light bitter hop finish. Brief aftertaste.

Gold colour. Medium head that falls out. Clean, pale malts, maybe a little bit of fruitiness, pretty simple pale macro lager. Touch of hoppy dryness late.

Draught at Boag’s Brewery and Centre For Beer Lovers, Launceston, Tas. Sampled on August 5, 2013.Apparently more knows as the "Boags Red" if you were to order it in a bar.Even with the "Ale" in the name it is actually a lager.Clear golden color, white head. Malty, some paper, stale, vegetable taste. Stale, paper aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet, malty scent. Our tour guide raved about this beer, but for me it was like drinking water that had had cardboard soak in it for the longest time, not enjoyable taste at all.
