Draught at Örebro Öl- och Whiskeyfestival. Very black, small beige head. Aroma of licorice and oak. Mid-sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Mouthfilling flavour of coffee and licorice, somewhat oily with well hidden alcohol. The same velvetty softness as other Kaggen, but quite different oaky flavours.

On tap at the Borefts Beer Festival, De Molen Brewery, Bodegraven, Netherlands 30-10-09 Pours dark mahogany with a beige head. There is a lovely stringy bitterness to this, its also soft and creamy and velvety, totally sumptious. This leaves a sweet sticky coating around the mouth, coffeeness is good, softness from the oak is showing, quite wonderful once again from Narke. A8 A4 F9 P4 Ov17 4.2

On tap at Borefts Bier Festival, De Molen. Black, beige head. Aroma of roasted malts, light oak, coffee, vanilla. Flavour is sweet, roasted malts, good coffee bitterness, vanilla, some oak and liquorice root in the finish. Medium to fullbodied, very smooth. Very good and again totally different from the other versions.

Cask @ 1st BBF De Molen. Chocolate, raisin and vanilla in the very malty aroma. Malty sweet flavor with dark chocolate, roast, raisin, aggressive oaky notes. Almost vinous. Smooth and silky. The alcohol is pretty well hidden.
