Brewed with more than 100 pounds of cacao nibs per batch, this golden-hued brew is fully loaded with chocolatey flavor. Vanilla bean and chamomile provide a silky-smooth finish. Sit back & relax. Next stop, Pale Chocolate Heaven

LAX draught, 12/8/22. Mostly clear golden-copper. No head. Rich cereal malt with cacao and light vanilla. Low lactose. Clean enough, though without much balancing the sweetness. Soft, malty, clean, cacao-forward with low vanilla and lactose. Some fruitiness. It's like the blonde stouts, just no real bitter element available to balance, though this is far from cloying or problematic. The cacao goes a long way. But yes, it's still pretty weird.

Can. Hazy gold, off-white head. Chocolate aroma. Taste is cocoa, grains, chocolate, vanilla notes. Very strange.

Can. No visible date. Hazy gold with a white head that's soon less than a coat. Strange weedy and earthy aroma with some chocolate. Taste is more comprehensible with chocolate and vanilla before a touch of herbal bitterness. I don't really know what they were trying to do here or whether they succeeded, but I didn't want to finish it.

Can from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours copper tinged gold with a slight white head. Aroma of not very dark chocolate. Med body. Flavor is not very dark chocolate with a touch of something like cinnamon. Not very dry; not very bitter. Mildly spicy in a not capsaicin way. Nicely done.
