This hybrid between a modern pale ale and a traditional Norwegian raw beer combines the flavours of old with the flavours of the new. With its light, tart and citrusy qualities it’s no wonder it’s our biggest seller. Aged in oak foeders and drawn off using a one vessel solera style method.

Bakgården Både & 180118. Golden color with a white head. Aroma is citric, sourness. Flavor is dry , sourness, citric, oxidation, berries, fruit, tropical fruits, wood. Very nice beer.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 22 Aug 2018) Pale golden colour with foamy, white head. Fruity, sourish nose with notes of citrus, peaches and bretty yeast. Fruity, spicy taste with citrus, unripe apricots, bread, dough, hay, spicy yeast and a mild grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Spicy and quite interesting. Quite nice.

Pale golden with a white head - Tart aroma - Tart malt body with some berry, fruity flavours with some bitterness - The tart berry fruiyt flavour goes into the finish - This was nice

Tap at Indewildeman, 31st July 18. Pours clear and light straw in colour. Aroma is funk, stone fruit. Taste is tart and sweet, funk, yeast, brett, citrus, sherbert. Lovely

5cl pours a clear gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose is very interesting, some grainy notes like rye or grains of paradise, a little cold smoke, some straw, some yogurt, lemon. Flavor is preserved lemon, minerally, straw, passion fruit, yogurt. Medium acid, high minerality. 7 4 7 4 14. Very unique. More than the sum of its parts.

On tap @Ma che siete venuti a fà (Rome). Oro acida, velata, schiuma leggera. Al naso sentori di pasta lievita, note citriche erbacee, leggermente speziata. In bocca è morbida, con finale amaro contenuto, lieve acidità. Corpo esile, watery, carbonazione leggerissima. Buona.
