27 April 2023. At Hal 16 (Dok Brewing). Cheers to the Teamleader crew!

A: hazy dark amber, small, foamy, tan head.
A: date, pear, plum jam, bourbon, wet wood, toffee.
T: very sweet candied date, fig, pear; toffee malts, bit herbal & nutty.
F: herbal hops, tea-ish almost, bit burnt, tobacco & dried fruit, boozy bourbon alcohol.
P: full body, syrupy texture, soft carbonation.
Heavy syrupy stuff, but sufficient balance.

Bottle. Slightly unclear deep golden body under a thin, beige head. Aroma is malty with a moderate Bourbon touch. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit, brown sugar and more distinct Bourbon than found in aroma. Pleasant, tasty and not too sweet.

Dark brown shiznit going for the 2019 no hewd look. Alright. Sweet roasty, breadcrusty malts, some sour berry, dry and wry leathery & yeasty, some sweet bourbon but mostly very dry roasty grainy, not in a bad way though.

Bottle shared thanks to sjogro. Bit hazy reddish brown with small beige head. Caramel malts, soft red berries, light bourbon, vanilla, earthy, figs, cola, raisins, soft booze, bitter herbs, earthy. Over medium sweet and bitter, light sour. Almost full bodied and a bit boozy with dry finish. OK.

Bottle sourced from Beerdrome and shared at home - very dark amber to mahogany brown pour with only the small swirl of a light beige head. Sweet malty with some caramel and toffee notes, dark dried fruit shred, brown sugar, full to medium bodied, hoppy backing, bourbon and a plethora of spices coalesce into the warming boozy sweet malty finish.
