Bought sixer for poker tomorrow but couldn’t help dipping into. Light straw colored pour huge white head. Nose is tropics and grassy. Tastes of pineapple, grass, resin, hay, apricot and lemony. It’s made with Medusa and Idaho 7 hops which is interesting hop profile. Light bodied and refreshing.

Quite hazy golden and peach coloured body with a straw glow and a nice, relatively dense two to three centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of grass, hay, light lemons, a touch of resin, passionfruit and some other light but noticeable tropical fruit juices. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and very herbal flavours showing at first with a large subdued hop bitterness that shows more of the juice and dryness at first and some of the light malts with some subtle herbs and perfume towards the end. Aftertaste shows some bitterness from the citrus and resin with some hops noticeable along with some more juicy and perfumey flavours and definitely dry malt that seems relatively well balanced, but showing more hop bitterness than malt depth and pungency. Overall, a well-structured but hop heavy (which is a good thing in this case) juicy and hazy IPA that shows a funky hop (not sure which varietal it is) that is dry and perfumey with some light juices throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Knightly Spirits in Orlando (Orange Blossom Trail), Florida on 05-May-2018 for US$2,18 sampled in my hotel room here in Orlando, Florida, a day later on 06-May-2018.

4oz draft @ Coppertail, Tampa.
